ABOUT ME

My true passion is in Mathematics. Pure Mathematics, in its way, is a poetry of logical ideas. I have specialized in Statistical algorithms and Stochastic modeling throughout my stay in Stanford.
In addition to my academic life, I have had good exposure to the industry as a student with large energy companies such as Chevron, ConocoPhillips and TOTAL; Thus providing me with a good training in theoretical, experimental and computational skills.
My interests are reservoir engineering, consulting and mining industry. Special interests include geomodeling, stochastic modeling, geostatistics, history-matching, field development strategies, uncertainty modeling, seismic analysis, and software development.

I am a last-year PhD student in Petroleum Engineering (Department of Energy Resources Engineering) at Stanford University. I will be graduating June, 2011.
My focus of PhD has been on methods of constructing and characterizing 3D subsurface models to be both geologically realistic, and at the same time, honor all available data, such as well logs or seismic attributes.
I have two masters degrees in Reservoir Engineering and Geosciences Engineering. I also have two BSc degrees in Electrical Engineering and Petroleum Engineering.
In addition, I am very enthusiastic about software development and programming. I have had experiences with different environments, platforms, and programming languages.
